The Significance of the Phoenix

CJ's last tattoo, the phoenix, symbolizes his journey of rebirth. In those final months, he embraced the idea that life is a cycle of renewal, and he felt to rise anew. This powerful emblem serves as a reminder of his strength and resilience embodying the hope that follows every ending. Through the tattoo, CJ celebrated the transformative power of life, even in most challenging times.

Phoenix

After CJ was tattooed with the Phoenix, he confessed it was one of the most painful experiences. He was so disoriented he had to have the  tattoo artist count his money for him. But he was extremely proud of what the tattoo represented.

Memorial Phoenix

To honour CJ, we now use the Phoenix in his memory. It is represented in all the Scholarships and Awards and Events that take place in his name.
